Brought to you by: Central Services (devX, dx, CCT) + CCS (Comcast Cyber Security) – We are excited to introduce the Universal Worklist (UWL), a new feature in DevHub designed to help you focus on the right work at the right time. UWL boosts productivity by reducing the cognitive load and time spent by data owners, security app leads, and developers in identifying security, data management, and compliance tasks. It achieves this by consolidating these tasks into a single, prioritized list. The initial version of UWL is live in production today, and we will continue to enhance it based on your feedback by including additional tasks and features in 2025.
The following features are live today and described in detail on our user guide:
Universal Worklist Interface for Task Management: Displaying a new section to “My Work” displaying overdue and pending tasks to system owners with direct links to complete the work. Tasks are prioritized by their category, like SP1 Vulnerabilities or Data Remediation, and then ordered by their due date.
UWL Tasks included for launch:
- Data Management Remediation Tasks: Data Management Remediation tasks are added to UWL, this allows system owners to know what data management work needs to be done.
- Security Tasks: Action–based scanned vulnerabilities found by Qualys will be included along with Security Priority 1 – Security Priority 4 vulnerabilities.
- Additional tasks will be added in subsequent releases like Third Party Vendor tasks and other technical imparities.
Your feedback is crucial to the success of this initiative. We will be reaching out to gather insights and suggestions to improve the UWL after today’s launch. Additional ways to provide feedback are:
