In September 2023, GTO announced the strategic decision to streamline and simplify our development and work management products by migrating from Rally to Jira. Our hope was to provide better transparency across our teams, create a common language and framework around the way we view and organize our work, manage operating costs more effectively, and increase the ease of mobility between our teams. After one year of partnered work together, we are excited to announce that our migration efforts are now complete!!

To celebrate this achievement, we’d like to share some of the metrics that highlight our work together…

• 20,000 people hours were saved with DevX Enable’s ConnectAll tool and Jira automations
• 4,500 GTO/Global Product Organization/TPX users across 2,500 active Rally projects were in-scope
• 750,000 issues were handled; the remaining were archived
• 475 projects were successfully migrated from Rally, creating roughly 275 new Jira projects across the various instances (TPX, TKTS, CCP)
• $1.8M Rally contract non-renewal
