The Cloud FinOps team is thrilled to announce the launch of our new public cloud cost optimization tool, Cloudability!  This third-party tool monitors usage across AWS, Azure, and GCP, providing optimization recommendations based on custom algorithms and is now live for full-time employees.  The data is visualized alongside relevant trends and metadata for easy consumption by engineering teams and leadership. 

We would like to formally invite public cloud account owners to request access through MyComcastAccess to start reviewing optimization recommendations within their account.  Once approved by your manger and access provisioned, please navigate to the following links to explore optimization recommendations that may exist within your AWS account: 

• Cost Optimization Dashboard:  The main hub to view Cloudability’s optimization recommendations.   
• Rightsizing Feature:  Detailed information about resources, creating tickets, and snoozing recommendations. 

We have showcased the tool’s capabilities with leaders and key stakeholders throughout TPX and are currently working to align the tool with Finance and BusOps processes across the business.  Please be on the lookout for future enhancements with more data elements pulled into our reporting functionality as we approach 2025.
