We believe consumer privacy is essential and have made strong Privacy Commitments to support that belief. In support of those commitments, we have published a Privacy Operating Framework and updated our privacy Policies and related procedures and standards.
The Data Management Remediation Process is a six-stage process utilized to systematically identify where application information comes from, where it is stored, how it is shared, and whether the system complies with retention schedules and protocols.
Who is it for?
As a Technical System Owner (TSO), you are responsible for ensuring we can fulfill the Comcast Privacy Commitments. TSOs must identify your system’s personal information (PI) so that we can easily provide, delete, or transfer personal information if requested.
How to use it?
To comply with current and new privacy laws and requirements, both internal and vendor applications must refresh the Data Management Remediation process on a regular basis.
Internal Applications
All internal applications must comply with the System and Data Accountability Policy to “attest to your data changes” for all applicable privacy remediation steps annually.
